Ouch (Radio Single)

by Pamela Sue Mann

/

about

Ouch is an angry fella…a “Tough Love” letter to that person who’s a bit too indulgent in courting difficulty and depression. Ouch is intended to snap the listener out of torture and toxicity, to thus thwart the utter alienation which happens so often when choosing to shrink into the helpless dark place, the behaviour back alley, tripping pathetic over oneself and the other in tandem.

OUCH is already receiving airplay and positive reviews internationally.

“Outstanding, originally Unique, Classy and Holistically delightful - Seven words to sum up the latest Pamela Sue Mann release - OUCH” - Alex Lewczuk (Siren Radio)

“Once again, Pamela Sue Mann demonstrates her unique vocal range with Ouch, a song that is both whimsical and hard-edged, juxtaposing a delightful light melody that is beautifully orchestrated, with a line of discord that fully compliments the song's intention as a tough love message to snap the listener out of the dark place. This takes both artist and listener on a wholly original journey both lyrically and musically. “ - Robin Pierce

lyrics

Your daddy's ways have splayed you
swimming like a salmon
Ouch
You take a bite
You better
Have your head examined
Ouch
Say I'm too old to play
The way you say I ought to
Ouch
Well I'm not giving a damn

Ouch
You threw the you we knew
Into the blue depression
Ouch
Inside the toilet you
Assumed a new expression
Ouch
Curate the cataract
In singular obsession

But can you stop what you start?
You're gonna pull us apart

Doodootdoodootdoo
Doodootdoodootdoodoo
Doodootdoodootdoo
Doodootdoodootdoodoo
Doodootdoodootdoo
Doodootdoodootdoodoo
Doodootdoodootdoo
Doodootdoodootdoodoo

Ouch
You drove the Cadillac into the Mazarati
Ouch
You bought the booze
And then you went and left the party
Tug
To grab your bit of rope
And pull you want me jolly
Pull
No I just don't have the heart
It's gonna pull us apart
I'm —- walking on shards

Ouch
Doodootdoodootdoo
Doodootdoodootdoodoo
Doodootdoodootdoo
Doodootdoodootdoodoo
Doodootdoodootdoo
Doodootdoodootdoodoo
Doodootdoodootdoo
Doodootdoodootdoodoo
