‘I Want Your Soul’ is inspired by the twin-soul theory of Greek mythology, which holds that humans are condemned to roam the earth, searching periodically, throughout lifetimes, for the estranged half of their soul.

The track features a wealth of talent from all corners of the music industry including Terry Edwards (PJ Harvey); Paul Cuddeford on guitar (Steve Harley, Last Day Sect); Sterling Campbell (B52s) and Yuval Lion (David Byrne) on drums and percussion; Gerry Leonard on guitar (David Bowie); Byron Isaacs on bass (Lumineers); Michael Tudor (Suzanne Vega) and Kevin Killen, (Kate Bush/U2) engineer.

Renowned singer songwriter and icon, Laurie Anderson, describes Mann’s work as “a masterpiece."

Ian Fortnam, Classic Rock reviews editor, described Mann’s work in The Best of 2019 as:

“Deliciously uncomfortable intimacy, keyed dream spaces with warm synthetic rhythms. There’s a seductive quality to Mann’s diaphanous signature vocal and otherworldly sound palette. Arty, avant, ambient, An alt. pop joy.”
